This scoring demo was the final project for a film score orchestration course taken in 2017
with bassist, Dr. Norman Ludwin (Inside Out, Jurassic World, Super 8) in Los Angeles, CA.
Composed by film veteran, Patrick Doyle, this arrangement is
inspired by the orchestrations of John Williams & and the late, James Horner.

This 2017 arrangement of the Disney classic by Alan Menken was made by
fusing together elements of rock and film scoring.
Written with a heavy hand
in the likes of
Trans-Siberian Orchestra
and Two Steps From Hell,
this orchestration includes a variety of live woodwinds paired
with a MIDI-synth orchestra performed on the EWI (Electronic Wind Instrument).
This was J. Golko’s first independently produced music video.
